Hi, I'm Danny.

And I'm the founder of dbMedia. I like to wear many hats and fill a lot of gaps: filmmaker, creative director, designer, videographer, motion nerd, and your logistics wrangler.

 

Whether you’ve got a clear vision or just a feeling you want to capture, I’ll help you shape the story, calm the chaos, and deliver something that actually works.
 

dbMedia began with a spark, not a business plan.

 

Early in my career, I was working on campaign content for a not-for-profit and something clicked. It wasn’t just about making something look good it was about helping people understand something important. That work ignited a drive in me: to use storytelling as a tool for impact, not just aesthetics (but they are important too).

 

As I took on more freelance work, I found myself drawn to clients who wanted to make change, organisations with a mission, a message, and a lot riding on how well their story was told. Over time, those projects became my focus. Because they felt the most alive and the most rewarding to deliver.

 

That momentum led to the birth of dbMedia a creative production company built to support not-for-profits, advocacy groups, educators, and purpose-led brands with content that cuts through.

 

That’s not all we do, of course. Alongside our impact-driven work, we’ve grown to support a wide range of corporate and event-based clients: from internal communications and launch videos to conferences and campaign rollouts. And we love those projects too. They challenge us, stretch our creativity, and sharpen our workflows.

 

But the work that sits at the heart of dbMedia? It’s the human stories. The changemakers. The disruptors.

 

That’s our niche.
